Secret Messages in Bottles: Spreading Joy with Recycled Essential Oil Containers

Reusing an empty bottle of essential oil to hide a secret message for a stranger is a charming and thoughtful way to spread unexpected joy. After the bottle is cleaned, a small, handwritten note with a motivational message can be carefully rolled up and slipped inside. The bottle's cap is then sealed, preserving not only the note but also the lingering scent of the essential oil. 

When the bottle is placed in a public spot, such as a park bench or a library shelf, it becomes a delightful surprise for the finder. Supplies used

• Small empty bottle
• Goo Gone spray
• Colorful paper
• Colorful ribbon
• Glitter stickers

Directions:

Use Goo Gone to remove the label and any remaining glue left on the glass.

Discard the internal dropper (the plastic cap that allows the oil to escape).

The glass must be empty. To ensure this and to enhance the presentation, place a piece of cotton at the bottom for two reasons:

1. To absorb any remaining oil, preventing it from softening or ruining the message you will place inside.

2. The cotton, by absorbing any remaining oil, will act as a sachet, infusing the message with the pleasant scent of the essential oil.

Write your message on a piece of paper that fits comfortably inside the glass. Roll up the message and tie it with a ribbon for an added touch of elegance.

Place the message in the glass and close the lid securely.

Decorate the glass with some cute stickers, and voila, your message in a mini bottle is ready to conquer the world!
